Each year, MSA faculty, RAs, and Directors choose a scholar who they believe fully embodies the spirit of the Academy to speak at the annual closing ceremony. Inspired donors create opportunities that support the educational aspirations of students who need financial support. The St. Louis Community Foundation has 80 scholarship programs that impacted over 700 students last year with awards totaling more than $2.5 million. At least six South County students have been named as recipients of the Missouri Scholars 100 award, and one received an honorable mention.
